Indigenous Games

Durack students enjoy our versions of traditional  Indigenous Games immensely (especially when a teacher chooses to be the Kangaroo they have to try to hit - with a soft ball of course).  The games may be used in class Smart Moves sessions or in  the physical education program, and have been a regular feature of general multicultural celebrations and Indigenous Days.  The majority of teachers and teacher aides are familiar with the games.

In 2012 Durack won the inaugural Inala Cluster Indigenous Games Tournament
