Durack Dragons on TV

Durack Students have been participants in two quiz games produced in Brisbane and broadcast on National Indigenous Television and the ABC.  The shows have also been broadcast internationally on the Australia Network ( and teachers on holiday in Vietnam have been surprised to see Durack kids on the hotel TV)

LETTERBOX is a multi-platform games show based around basic grammar and spelling skills with its first season featuring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.  You can view some of the episodes and play the games on the LETTERBOX website - and also learn a lot about Indigenous languages and culture.

GO LINGO! is a high energy game show packed with fun and challenges as students aged between 11-12 play a variety of hi-tech games using the latest in touch screen technology.

There is a unique aspect to this show and that is the inclusion of games focusing on Indigenous Australia - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples - their history, culture and of course, their language.

You can play  Go Lingo! online
